DOCUMENTARY HERITAGE OF VASILY ROMANOVICH VAVRIK AS A HISTORICAL SOURCE

 

Abstract:

Vasily Romanovich Vavrik (1889 – 1970) – Rusyn public figure, writer, historian, Lviv local historian. Its Fund, located in the manuscript Department of the Russian national library (F. 1081), contains 1,300 items and is the most valuable source on the history of the Rusyn movement in Austria-Hungary. Also a valuable Fund of W. R. Vavrik, and as a source for the history of the USSR until the early 1970s, In this article the author conducts source analysis of the manuscript by V. R. Vavrik "At sunset the fading days".
